Welcome to BondAlchemy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to transparency and your right to privacy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Data You Provide

When you use BondAlchemy, you may provide:

• Personal Name: Used for personalization within the app
• Personality Preferences: Your relationship values, communication style, and personal preferences from the onboarding questionnaire
• Journal Entries: Dream journal entries and AI life coach conversations
• Compatibility Data: Information for relationship compatibility analysis

2.2 Automatically Collected Data

We do NOT collect:

• Your location in real-time
• Device identifiers for tracking
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Advertising identifiers

3. How We Store Your Data

3.1 Local Storage (Apple Core Data)

All your personal information is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud sync.

3.2 iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you enable iCloud sync:

• Your data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account
• Data syncs across your devices signed in with the same Apple ID
• We (the developers) have zero access to your iCloud data
• Apple's CloudKit framework handles encryption and security

3.3 Developer Access

IMPORTANT: Developers at DevOrbitLabs have NO ACCESS to:

• Your personality profile data
• Your journal entries
• Your AI life coach conversations
• Your compatibility reports
• Your soulmate drawing results
• Any other personal information you enter in the app

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 OpenAI API

For AI-powered features (life coach, compatibility analysis, dream interpretation), we use OpenAI's API through our secure backend proxy:

• Requests are anonymized (no personally identifiable information is sent)
• Conversations are not stored on OpenAI servers
• API requests are processed in real-time and not retained

4.2 DALL-E 3 (Soulmate Drawing)

For the Soulmate Drawing feature, we use OpenAI's DALL-E 3:

• Image generation requests contain only anonymized personality traits
• No personally identifiable information is sent
• Generated images are stored only on your device

4.3 RevenueCat

For subscription management, we use RevenueCat, which processes:

• App Store transaction receipts (handled by Apple)
• Anonymous device identifiers for subscription status
• No personal information beyond what Apple provides for purchases

5. Data Sharing

We do NOT share, sell, or rent your personal information to third parties. Period.

6. Data Retention

Your data is stored on your device and/or your iCloud account for as long as you keep the app installed. You can delete all data at any time by:

• Deleting individual entries within the app
• Clearing all app data in Settings
• Uninstalling the app (removes local data)
• Disabling iCloud sync and deleting iCloud data from your Apple account

7. Children's Privacy

BondAlchemy is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• End-to-end encryption for iCloud sync (managed by Apple)
• Secure HTTPS connections for all network requests
• API keys stored securely on our backend (not in the app)
• Certificate pinning for API calls
• Regular security audits and updates

9. Your Rights (GDPR Compliance)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your data (available within the app)
• Rectification: Correct inaccurate data (edit within the app)
• Erasure: Delete your data (delete within the app)
• Data Portability: Export your data (future feature)
• Withdraw Consent: Stop using the app at any time

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights:

• We do not sell your personal information
